Winter's pretty much over, and I'm more than ready for Spring! Bring on the sakura blossoms! Oh, how i wish I could see them in Japan. I believe the sakura viewing parties happen around this time (late February to late March?). Must be awesome.

Anyhoo, Ayame Gensai and Yutaro Tsukayama are just posing for a photograph at one such viewing festival. Ayame is quite proud of her pink kimono, but she'll always love the sakura blossoms more, for nothing can compete with their color.

Hee, just an old picture if ya can't tell. I think it's over two years old...I had been meaning to finish it but never did. I kept getting stuck on her kimono. ; I liked her obi, which I did first, but the kimono was another story. Wasn't too sure on the design or color. IN the end, pink won out, because well...our Ayame's favorite color is pink.

And yes, these are not my characters. Ayame Gensai and Yutaro Tsukayama are from Rurouni Kenshin. Back in the day I played in an rpg and my character was a sullen Yutaro while my friend Koneko played a hillariously exuberant Ayame. OH those were fun times. XD
