A lot of my photos are "smoke and mirrors" and a serious amount of editing before I even consider uploading them. So a lot of the grain and fuzz is taken out after I take the photo.

You mean like image rendering? I use my Samsung phone to take close-up photos but they turn out blurry.

Ah yes, I see. I've never found phone cameras to be very good at taking photos. Maybe I've just bought the wrong phones?
I've a dedicated macro lens to take these sorts of close up shots, and a tripod to help steady the camera and get less blur. I get rid of the grain with a few postprocessing filters, and usually some sort of smoothing.
