Description
Illustration done for a children's book about dinosaurs.Airbrushed in Photoshop in 4-5 hours. Doing this series of Dinosaurs was something new for me. I absolutely loved getting the chance to actually do something with dinosaurs on a commercial level. Especially since it was the drawing of dinosaurs when I was very young that got me interested in art.

Two things to critique; One is the nostrils, they should be placed further down there they sit here. Another is the the front feet, I think the tumb claws should be closer to the ground, and I'm uncertain as to whether sauropods did have finger nails there or not.
But other than that it's pretty good.

May I ask as to what you are basing your critique's on? While I will admit the claws are higher on my illustration versus others that I have seen. I have also seen many where the claw was rendered higher on the foot. As for the nostrils, that is complete speculation just like the feet. Especially since no feet or skull of a Barosaurus has ever been found. And believe me, these illustrations do not go to print without first being heavily scrutinized by people who would know if they are incorrect.
