Another oldie, but goodie. This is J1 Ruffles at sunset. He went missing this year and is presumed dead. He was believed to be about 60 years old when he disappeared and was quite famous for a wild orca. His name comes from the wave or 'ruffle' in the trailing edge of his dorsal fin.This photo was taken from shore at Lime Kiln State Park.
