Description
It's time for another Forever 16 origin story! This three-parter, from May and June 1992, chronicles the formation of the garage band Westworld. Already you can tell these fine young musical talents are destined for absolutely nothing.

Aaron wants to everything that isn't the core work that is the band. He's a teen musician alright. As for inspiration, let's not forget the Kinks and Zombies.

About a year ago, I sort of unofficially "rebooted" Forever 16 - I rewrote a bunch of the origin stories and redesigned most of the characters, and that included getting rid of Aaron's glasses. One, I already had Katy and Abby, and three main characters with glasses seemed like a bit much; and two, how's Aaron supposed to keep glasses on his head when he's on the basketball court or flailing around onstage? They just didn't fit his character anymore.

Oh, I didn't know Aaron's last name was West. That makes sense.
Couple of things I wanna ask:
1. Westworld, like all other garage bands, starts out doing covers, right? If so, who/what/why?
2. Have you written any original songs for Westworld? If so, would you put them up?
3. You said that Westworld sounds like Sex Bob-omb from Scott Pilgrim; loud, buzzy and amateurish. To that extent, would Steve ever say "WE ARE WESTWORLD! 1-2-3-4!"?
4. Have YOU ever actually wanted to form a band? I have. If so, would I be right to guess the frontman position for you?
5. Not a question, rather a statement: I've actually had some of MY characters form a band. Although Dracolupus Twins isn't as (in)famous as F16 on dA, I've had the idea for years now. If you wanna know more, just ask!
