Among the many things that make Wreck-It Ralph unique, one of my favorites is the voice cast. John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, and Sarah Silverman are just about the last people you’d expect to star in a Disney movie. And yet, it totally works. I had the goofy whim to take dialogue from some of these actors’ other appearances and put ‘em in the mouths of Ralph, Calhoun, Felix, and Vanellope – and surprisingly, that works pretty darn well too.
Can you identify where these four quotes come from? It’s fun!

The cast were excellent, usually I don't always like the overuse of big name stars in animated film, much like Billy West mentioned before. Yet the cast were actually trying to act and not just say lines. Like when I watch Rango, I hear Rango, not just Johnny Deep collecting a check. Unlike in Cars 2 where I feel like the majority of the movie is just a long really bad stand-up by Larry The Cable Guy.
Tabitha St Germain (Rarity from My Little Pony) told me in a panel if these big star actors do a solid job, then it's ok if they're A-List and not actually professional V.A.s

Which reminds me of something Mindy Kaling said on "The Office" that would work great for Taffyta Muttonfudge:
"I don't talk trash, I talk smack. They're totally different. Trash talk is hypothetical, like 'Your mom is so fat she can eat the Internet.' But smack talk is happening like right now, like 'You're ugly and I know it for a fact 'cause I got the evidence right there.'"

You're right about Calhoun's, but Ralph's is from Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Felix's comes from an episode of "30 Rock" and Vanellope's is from "The Sarah Silverman Program".

The Lynch and Silverman ones were TOO funny.. not gonna lie! And.. I keep thinking the McBrayer one is from... "30 Rock", maybe? O'Reilly's, I dunno.

Extras, yes. But I haven't heard anything about a commentary, which bums me out - Rich Moore's Simpsons and Futurama commentaries are great, and I would have loved to hear him discuss this movie too.

No commentary I am afraid. For some REALLY odd reason most of Disney's newer movies come without an audio commentary, and without any wealth of significant extras outside their standard promotional stuff. A shame since I really did want to learn more about this movie.

All fantastic - another note of interest is that, in a way, each of the four characters here visually resemble their voice actors. I noticed that soon after seeing the movie for the first time and comparing Jane Lynch's facial features with Calhoun...!

It's not talking about stealing the cat. It's "steal away into" as a way of saying "sneak into."

But then it doesn't make sense: she gets him the cat and lets him fall in love with it, but then doesn't do anything with it; breaking into his house and punching him is a separate thing that she didn't need the cat for.

Sorry, I'm still not getting it. The traditional structure for this kind of joke is, she gets him something nice, solely so she can later take it away again, because it's meaner that way. But she doesn't take the cat away here.
