Description
It's been about six months since I last drew Maxine Mink, and I thought it was high time I brought her back. She still lives underwater, of course, and she couldn't be happier with the location of her home. Here she is, taking a walk around the lake floor.Every so often, I'll do a drawing that I wish could be seen in animation, because movement is so crucial to what I'm trying to convey. This is definitely one of those, since I wanted it to make it look like Maxine is walking very slowly as a result of the water's natural resistance. It's hard to do that with just a single drawing, but I did my best.

Good to see her again! I can't help but notice that you've kept the curves on Maxine from that last pinup piece of yours- kudos. Those underwater effects are just awesome, man.

You've pulled it off quite well. I like how the sand moves as her feet moves along the surface.
Maxine definitely needs more face time...or "bubble time" if you will.

Even if it's not in motion, I think you'd pulled it off pretty well.

Nice to see Maxine again, I was worried we'd have to wait until next Xmas! I am in total agreement with you, too - seeing this animated would be one of the greatest things ever.

You did a great job on her... all the underwater details looks amazing, like the sand under her shoes, her tail... the bobbles, etc...
Probably the lightning from above is what I love the most!

Believe me when I say EVERY deviation you draw ought to have been part of an animation cel. This is another of those cases
Also: Siz months!!? Gad, it HAS been a while then... 0_o

She looks good even underwater! She can keep her motions steady there, too!

Am I guessing you used a heavy blur filter to simulate visual distortion for being underwater?

Ahh yes. It's great to know that good ol' cutie is still around in your drawing schedule. ^^
Keep up the great work as always, buddy!
