Description
Good god, it's hot where I live this week. Nothing like 90-degree days to make me wish I had a pool. But if I can't dive in, at least my characters can!
I still have a few more underwater drawings of the Nineteen-Ninety-Something characters lying around. This felt like a good one to beat the heat with - lovely New Age-y Denise doing a bit of underwater yoga. She just needed to find her center, and it turns out it was in the deep end of the pool the whole time

I feel calmer - and cooler - just by looking at this image
Again, loving the brush pens for the underwater effects!

Always nice to see sexy Denise, my favorite 1990S gal! She won't have to worry about drowning since she has her own personal floatation devices!Β

Nice work. And kudos to the perspective. Getting a very slight angle of view, either just over the top or, as in this case, just under the bottom, without looking like just a straight on view, is one of the harder techniques I've tried.

Love seeing Denise one of fave characters. Any chance of a solo strip for her?

I briefly considered at one point doing an AU called Nineteen-Sixty-Something, with Denise and Kendra as the main characters, living the hippie lifestyle in Haight-Ashbury at the peak of the counterculture movement. It's definitely too much work for me to do yet another comic series, but it might make for a few fun standalone drawings

I know what you mean, going through summer without swimming is like going through winter without a heater. :/
Denise always delights! I like the way her crystal necklace is floating, and the way her hair is all wavy. Also, my goodness,Β I had no idea she was so well-endowed! Funny how the water brings out the beauty of anyone in it, isn't it?
Anyways, I do miss NNS, so at least it's nice to see that the characters are having a good time!

One again, Denise is a wonderful sight to behold underwater.
I always love how you do these pool pieces.

If there's a lifeguard on duty, Denise must have a lot of his attention. I hope the pool filter currents arn't pushing her deeper.

Is her crystal necklace floating due to it's mystical properties?
