In between commissions, I haven't forgotten my ten free entries in the Underwater Babes/Cuties of Toontown. And here's the submission in the latter series suggested by my old commission buddy , who wanted to see me draw Lila Sawyer from "Hey Arnold" underwater. Of course, there's only one drawback to that idea - according to the canon of the show, Lila can't swim.

Now obviously, I keep my gallery clean of any pieces that depict realistic drowning, since that's kind of on the creepy side, so clearly, I had to think up a situation where Lila doesn't mind being in the water. So let's say this is the end result of a story where Arnold teaches Lila how to swim over the course of several weeks. After their last session, they've already dried off and changed back into their street clothes, and Lila is ever-so-grateful to Arnold for educating her - so much so that she plants one on him. And Arnold, standing with his back to the pool, ends up tumbling into the drink, bringing his thankful pupil along with him. Looks like it's back to the changing rooms for them!
