Considering Danielle is the driving creative force behind the whole underwater photography concept at the center of Off the Deep End, I'm surprised I don't draw her underwater more often. Mostly it's because, in-universe, she's usually behind the scenes as the photographer. But every so often, I figure she likes to model a bit too. And who better to accompany her than her sister Courtney?

In the backstory I conceived for the series, Courtney was Danielle's first underwater model, back in their high school days when all Danielle had to work with was an $8 disposable waterproof camera from Target. Even now, as a devoted mother to Jamie and Spencer's cousin Joshua, she still finds time to dive in and contribute to whatever funky new underwater project her sister's got going this week. 'Cuz that's what siblings are for, am I right?
