I told you I'd be back to explore this concept of breath-holding in outer space! And it's been so long since I drew Jamie from Off the Deep End, this felt like the perfect opportunity for her comeback. Off the Deep End has moved further and further away from adhering to any sort of physical logic with each successive drawing - the characters have gone from needing scuba gear to seemingly being able to hold their breath indefinitely, to even being able to use non-waterproof objects underwater. So I figured "What the hell, let's send Jamie into space."

How did she get there? I can't be sure. Even she seems to have been caught rather off-guard by it. At least she's got her phone (well, assuming it doesn't float away from her) - but good luck calling for help when there's no sound in space. Better text someone quick and tell them to pick you up, sweetie, 'cuz whatever air you've got in your lungs is gonna have to last you quite a while
