So my first drawing for the new year isn't exactly a new drawing proper, as this is simply me testing out the Wacom drawing tablet that I got for Christmas. But lo and behold, these mere doodles turned out great, even if it's technically not a complete picture! So naturally, Mario still looks a little messy here, partially because he's not fully colored, and I was experimenting with the shading and glow effects. When I draw Mario for real, expect it to be something amazing! Should also note that this marks the end of my use of MS Paint after eight years! At least as my primary art program; may use it for small stuff now and again, but with this, we now enter a new era! I really made some progress on improving my art with it, and I have no doubt that will translate perfectly into drawing by hand digitally! You guys are about to experience my full power! Hope you're ready for it, this is just a sample!
