Alternate title: "Why Queen Rippuru Isn't In The Anime"! Just so you know, that's what I call her ["Rippuru" is Japanese for "ripple"] rather than Ripple Star Queen. Speaking of the anime, it seems she's watched a couple of episodes; take a guess at who her least favorite character is...? To be fair, I guess Tiff HAS a reason to not like Dedede due to his actions in the anime... But it does get pretty annoying that every time Dedede does something, she's suspicious, and every time her suspicions are justified (I kinda wish there was an episode where she was proven wrong). Well, Queen Rippuru isn't happy about that one bit, and the usually quiet and calm monarch is pretty upset with Tiff! But I've got a feeling she's a LITTLE biased, if ya catch my drift! Anyways, as always, I hope you guys like this drawing!Queen Rippuru (Ripple Star Queen) and Tiff are owned by Nintendo/HAL Laboratory, Inc.

I wonder what Rippuru’s reaction was to “Swole Dedede”. You know, the really buff and muscular version of Dedede that appeared in Star Allies.
...Actually, now that I think about it, do I even want to know what Rippuru’s reaction was to Swole Dedede? I have a feeling that I shouldn’t know things like that.

Perfect scores on all levels in Dedede Drum Dash Deluxe? That's in impressive feat. Now I don't wanna sound like I'm taking sides hee, but I'm sure Tiff has her reasons for her suspicions of Dedede, despite him helping Kirby, Waddle Dee, Adeline and Ribbon in Kirby 64 and I'm just gonna say this here and now, Ted Lewis did a amazing job voicing Dedede. In fact, whenever I imagine Dedede talking, Ted Lewis' voice acting is what I always here.

Well to be fair, Tiff only knows about the Dedede from her dimension. Queen Rippuru only knows about the Dedede from the games (the canon counterpart); so naturally their opinions of him are bound to be vastly different!

Tiff seems pretty frightened in this and she's someone who usually doesn't get that frightened by other people. What could the queen possibly do to her that has her so scared?

Come on, Rippuru you can do better than that (Unless Tiff has some secrets and feelings she wants no living being to know about.) But that is if Dedede learned how to read by now and doesn't find what she writes boring. But yeah a queen with actual power over a planet might be worse to get angry than a self proclaimed king in a tiny patch of Popstar that almost everyone in his own kingdom ignores and shows little-to-no respect to.
Wonder what she thoughts she would have if Rippuru found out the whole of Cappy town disrespects Dedede like it was required to live?

I had the game version of King Dedede in mind, but either way, he'll probably have a field day with any she wrote about the time she actually agreed to go on a date with Kine or that awkward situation with "Commander Vee".
In the games, he isn't really ignored by his subjects and it's unknown how exactly big Dream Land is (safe to say it's the largest country by far), but then again we don't really see the civilians of Dream Land all that much. Other than the one time he stole all the food in Dream Land, Dedede hasn't done any other notably awful acts in the games (at least not of his own free will, and not counting when he simply wants to fight Kirby) and his intentions are often times misunderstood, though he does mean well for the good of his kingdom.
That being said, Rippuru would probably say some things I can't type here...!

1) That's hilarious but something can be thought up.
2) I do think game Dedede can read but i am unsure hw would care to much about one little girl (Anime Dedede would have a field day with that diary even though the sunfish date was known to a bit of the town.)
3) Well Game Dedede probably isn't to ignored, he just doesn't fulfill many kingly duties. People would much rather ignore anime Dedede (Even though the king makes that impossible).
4) Oh it seems the queen can be a little fussy at times. But if she thinks Tiff's bad Tuff can be worse in his disrespect toward the king. (He's a rebellious and stubborn one, even to his own parents. Only seeing his sister mad at him really scares him when he's out of line [and that's only some of the time] and probably won't care what the queen says or threatens.)

Man, when you push aside the fact that this picture is comedic and meant to portray Ripple as infatuated with Triple D, she's kinda right.
Tiff was one of the things that made the Kirby anime difficult to watch for me, the other being the Cappy Town residents in general, and the portrayal of King Dedede. They made him far more antagonistic than he actually was… It kinda suffers the same problems Sonic X and F-Zero, where some OCs pushed aside the main cast, and flanderized the main characters.
I probably would have enjoyed the anime more if it was directly based off of Superstar or 64. Taking a few liberties is okay, but do it too much and it becomes annoying.

The Cappy Town residents are hit-and-miss for me; you got the more important ones like Professor Curio and Chief Bookum, who get episodes centered around them (and as such are portrayed better), but the rest of the unnamed townsfolk are essentially country bumpkins (Coincidentally, King Dedede sounds pretty country himself in the show; but he's like the best part about it!). That being said, at least they aren't like the Bikini Bottom citizens in the bad seasons of Spongebob Squarepants!
Tiff herself isn't "downright awful", but she can get pretty preachy in a few episodes (such as "Un-Reality TV"). Maybe if they portrayed her as a more gentle character, who honestly tried to change Dedede's ways in the show rather than just call him out for it, she'd be more likable. As far as I know, Dedede kinda tones down his schemes after "Prediction Predicament".
But yeah, I can say Sonic X has that issue too regarding Chris Thorndyke (the elephant in the room, pretty much). I've been re-watching it, but yeah, the only problem I've noticed with him is how he kinda took a big chunk of the spotlight from the main cast; his actual character isn't horrible, but he had more screen time than what was necessary.
Initially I believed Kirby: Right Back at Ya! was supposed to be a prequel to the games. The way they tell Kirby's backstory (as well as Meta Knight's) certainly makes it sound that way. However, the events of the anime are apparently a separate reality from the game canon; while certain aspects of the anime have influenced the games, its story plays no part in what really happens in the Kirby series. I really hope they make a new anime for Kirby someday; one that retells the story of the games from Kirby's Dream Land to now, just like Pokemon Generations (but as full, 20+ minute episodes; and obviously way more than just 18 of 'em)!
And yes, definitely! Fans love to see a clear knowledge of, respect to, and good usage of the source material; when using a different form of media from the one mainly used for the source material (in this case, an anime about a video game series), some liberties will be taken of course, but they should be kept to a minimum. Kirby: Right Back at Ya! is still one of my favorite anime even disregarding the fact that it's about my second favorite video game series of all-time, but it definitely could've been so much more!

Honestly, I don't think Chris is as bad as people make him out to be. He's not very well-written character, but at least, in the Japanese version, Dr. Eggman calls him out on being selfish. That puts Sonic X above the Kirby anime in my opinion, because rather than Chris being super self-righteous like Tiff is 90% of the time, he gets told when he's wrong.
Then for F-Zero there's Rick Wheeler, who… well, man, I feel that's a rant saved for another day, haha.
The Kirby anime being a prequel would have been believable if not for them tossing in Nightmare and straying a bit too far. That being said, despite being a Kirby fan, I'm the opposite of you. I actually really didn't like the anime, but I can kinda see why people enjoyed it. c:
I think my favorite anime adaptation of a video game is probably Ace Attorney, it just hits all the right notes, despite some frequent animation errors. (Hyperdimension Neptunia follows close behind, the only thing killing that thing being the ridiculous fan-service lol)
