"JBX9001, two memes in one week?! What's the dealio, brah"?! Well, I do apologize, but I couldn't resist... Anyways, so this meme entails that I categorize something within the realm of overrated, underrated, etc. I chose video games (BIG SURPRISE!!), and here's the reason for each of my picks:

Good - Kirby (series): To be completely honest, I would've picked Super Mario, but keep in mind Kirby comes in at second place! And considering how many video game franchises I DO like, that's quite an accomplishment! There is just so much to like about this wonderful series; every character is great, the world of Dream Land is breathtaking (particularly in newer installments), the battles are epic as hell, the anime was pretty good, and the games as a whole are just incredible (and also, not a single one is bad; and I've pretty much played them all except Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble, so I speak from experience)! Plus the fandom is just near perfection! Legend of Zelda was a third option for this choice.

Overrated - Undertale: I REALLY did try to refrain from picking Undertale for this; trust me, I really did. Calling this game overrated has probably been so "overused" by now, especially since Cuphead seems to be the "trending game" at the moment... However, to say something is overrated is to acknowledge that it possesses quality to begin with. Maybe not enough to warrant its status, but I can safely say it does look like time and effort was put into Undertale (plus I've gotten newfound respect for it after learning that it was not only inspired by Earthbound, but the Mario & Luigi games as well; and I FREAKIN' LOVE THOSE GAMES!! ) If those "particular fans" didn't shove it in everyone's face, I'm sure it wouldn't have garnered the hate it does get.

Underrated - Puyo Puyo (series): If you didn't see this coming, you must be new to my gallery... It's no secret here that I'm a big fan of Puyo Puyo, and for good reason! This series can be pretty darn hilarious, and puzzle games usually don't put a lot of emphasis on story (or even have one) like this one does. I'm particularly fond of its unique art style as well, and every character is pretty entertaining, weird quirks and all! I've said this like a dozen times already, but definitely check this series out if you haven't!

Neutral - Shovel Knight: I've heard the game is pretty good; but I wouldn't call it underrated, 'cuz evidently the guy's popular enough to have been voted for in the Smash Ballot for SSB4 three years ago (d*** time flies!). At the same time, there's no influx of rabid fanboys or flood of fan art either, so it's not overrated. And it's certainly not hated. I may try it out sometime, maybe not... Who knows? But I will acknowledge its worth.

Overhated - Paper Mario: Sticker Star: The flames have long since died out from this topic, but the fact remains; Sticker Star caused quite a commotion on its day of release; and it definitely wasn't a good one... To put it in perspective, I can see why people dislike it in the first place. The original trilogy were masterpieces, and for me, they are a big part as to why the Super Mario series is my number one favorite video game franchise of all-time! And all was well and good in the Mario fandom. But then this drops, and it's a MAJOR step back from everything that made the previous Paper Mario games so special. Fans felt betrayed, heartbroken, and were in utter disbelief; but they blew it out of proportion. I myself gave the game a chance, and I pretty much liked it enough to 100% it and I still own it (and will probably replay it again sometime). Everyone else was demanding Miyamoto be fired and whatnot, and when you try to get the creator of the whole frikkin' series kicked off, that's overhating, my friend! Don't get me started on the Color Splash drama...!

Underhated - Build 'n Race : None of you will know what this is, I don't expect you to know what it is, and I certainly would not recommend this game! The only reason I am aware of its existence is because my cousin got it for my youngest brother on Christmas many years ago. I don't blame her, she's not a gamer, and the prospect of building your own race tracks DOES sound good. But this is THE blandest, most uninteresting game I have ever played for myself, especially when time could be better spent on the Wii playing stuff like New Super Mario Bros. Wii! It's so obscure, as of today, only TWO people have scored it on Metacritic , and it's been out for eight years! And then there's a glitch my other brother found where if you just go back and forth across the finish line, you cause the other players to explode and automatically win; I AM NOT JOKING!

Bad - Flame Hyenard: Okay, I have no idea what to put here that hasn't been said before, so here's Flame Hyenard from Mega Man X7. Don't know why I put him here? Welllllllllllllllllll... The only good thing to come out of him is that he's the perfect reaction to fetish art!
