Peach & Daisy duo sketch. Pencil + Paper.Somebody got the drop on Peach & Daisy together and aims to get rid of both of them with a nasty explosive while they are securely bound and can't get free! Will they be rescued???
Notes:
This sketch has several "firsts" for me. Some of you have been clamoring to get Peach & Daisy together in a DiD scenario by my pencil grasping hand. Well, here you go! I knew that I wanted both of them side by side, but didn't want to use the same position. Everybody could have guessed that Peach would be hogtied, however I tried a new angle, and almost frontal perspective this time. It came out ok, although it seems to me that Peach is slightly smaller overall than Daisy, but maybe it is just an optical illusion. For Daisy, I again tried the position of the sitting with legs outstretched, and I think I pulled it off ok. Her dress is riding up, however, albeit not *quite* enough to have to pull out the "mature" rating
A long time coming perhaps, but this is my first sketch where the damsels are gagged. I'm not really much for them, and I can't really draw them, but I studied some other dA renditions and went for a cleave for both Princesses. I dunno if they really look right, but for those of you out there that would rather have the DiDs *mmph*ing, enjoy!
I have no clue where I got the idea to draw a musclebound kidnapper in a camouflage outfit, but why not? I knew I had to have somebody in the room with a taunt, or the bomb, or something.
Inside joke - I added just a smidgen of humor, with the bomb being made by "Acme". Based on prior cartoon experiences with Acme products, maybe the damsels aren't in as much danger as they think

Good point! He'd better have a super leaf, or a hammer suit, or a starman or something to avoid an explosive rescue
In terms of refinement, how so? I have come some way since I did this, and so I would re-do Daisy's body and the background for a start.

The bomb will give them one minute...plenty of time for someone to rescue her and Peach...but that part you all will just have to imagine 'cuz I ain't drawin' the rescue :-P

omg foreshortening *faints* Great work on this one, i think it's really sucessful! First off fantastic work drawing the elements in such a peculiar angle, like on daisy's shoes and peach's arms, fantastic work on drawing their hair and their expressions. I very much like the addition of the thug in the background, it really helps show the amount of space in the scene with the wall and floor. Now the only thing i think needs work on would be the floor boards. Now consider this, if you were looking at a series of stright lines from an angle, then some of the lines would be angled away from you because of how you see them from your perspective. the same would apply to the floor boards. the way i found to figure out how to draw floor lines is to find where the vanishing point is in the horizion. For your case it would be off the page, but using that line you can then get the exact angle the floor lines should be. Fantastic image though, every drawing you do gets better and better!

I didn't want to draw a hogtie from the frontal view, as not only does it limit the viewer's take, but I think the womanly curves in that DiD position are lost...but surprisingly it came out ok. Plus I need to explore other perspectives too...sideview would get too boring after a while.
Perspective is a weakness of mine, and I know the floor is crappy...I rushed it because I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I knew I had to draw something there to establish the ground, especially considering the angle. However, practice DOES make perfect...In my "Failed Rescue Attempt" work, I have since noticed the window is not quite at the correct angle, and though I likely won't re-do it, I realize how I can fix it. A few months ago, I likely wouldn't even have noticed it wasn't quite right!

I like a lot how you did the hogtie position for Peach, and Daisy is really hot in your style, nice to see more DID of her coming from you!

As I stated in the blurb, I am not 100% satisfied how Daisy came out, but I don't want to erase the original now and re-do it...with my luck it won't come out as good. So I will leave it be.
A cleave gag once in a while, when appropriate won't hurt I don't think...but most of my upcoming and such will still allow the DiD's to call for help...which likely won't do them any good

Well Daisy looks good here, maybe some touches in her hair would make her better, but overall I like how she came out.

Thanks! I can't guarantee gagwork all the time, but I will dabble when I think appropriate. As for the dresses, I was pretty happy with how that part came out.
