"Along the sandy bank of a babbling brook, under the shade of a wilting willow, sat a soldier. He wiped the perspiration from his swarthy brow. The fresh beads had formed during the long hours trekking under the morning sun, which had since reached its noontime zenith.

His brown skin glimmered with the bronze tan of many suns and glistened with the sweat of the midsummer heat. With his helmet tucked under his arm, his charcoal black hair hung in loose locks to his broad shoulders. His matching beard hung to his collarbone. He wore a loose-fitting indigo tunic with a scarlet sash over his broad shoulders. As he sat and rested upon a rock, his arms folded on his lap. His bronze shield leaned against the stone beside him and his sword remained sheathed in the scabbard hanging from his belt."

Raised as the ward of the Great Wizard Drasil, Joshua knew he was destined for great things ever since he was young. He joined the Royal Guard of Arden and rose in the ranks to become a captain. Now he seeks to use his position to fulfill his destiny and gather companions to assist him with his mission. With his knightly broadsword in hand, he bravely faces any foe and challenge with courage and faith.
