Yet another Christmas gift I made for a family member; this one goes to my mom, who had been begging me to draw her a butterfly since the beginning of summer. Naturally, I waited until an appropriate holiday to make her one.

The butterfly itself was inked and colored using classic colored pencils, while the background is watercolor with dots of white acrylics making most of the highlights. I've pretty proud of this one, if I do say so myself. The scan doesn't really do it a lot of justice though; I had to edit out several folds in the paper but there are still shadows all over the place.
