Description
Today we have a new profile picture that took me two weeks to finish. It took that long because of my school schedule, but thank God I finished it before homecoming week. Because I'm on student council, homecoming is a real nightmare.Half of these characters play major and minor roles in The Misfit Hunters comic, which is set to start uploading sometime in June of 2017. All of the protagonists appear in here, a few supporting characters, and the main villain and a secondary villain. You can guess who is who.
The other half are characters that will not appear in the comic, Yanga, Kitsu, Venus, Kygo, Shade(formally called Shadowmoon, if that helps you figure out which one that is), Fefi, Cornelius, and Manx do not have any official roles in the story. However, they might show up as stock characters or Easter eggs.
Up next; I need to work on some art to sell. I'm super excited to work on it because I just bought a set of watercolor pencils last night, and I can't wait to try them out.

That's the name of a comic I'm planning to start this upcoming summer.

I see. I, too, made my own series. I've
drawn my characters over 10 years. And
it's getting better and adding more characters
every year. It's called The Mystic Stones.
Here, take a look:

Thanks. The main character
of The Mystic Stones is none
other than Samantha Powers
aka Sweet Spark. To put in a
simple way, she loves reptiles.
It's a long story.

So she's a lover of reptiles?
She and I would get along just fine. So do you just have the characters up right now or have you published any pages or stories yet?

Well, I'm still working on a
story, so not yet. As for fan
art, her boyfriend is Leatherhead.
That's right, Samantha's favorite
reptiles are an alligators and crocodiles.

Greetings from ,
Wow, this is quite a large group! I'm impressed at the ambition you must have had to make such a large group. I can barely handle putting three characters together! I can gaze at this for a long time and learn a bit about the characters based on their expressions and postures. It's pretty neat Your composition is pretty good especially toward the top where you have the white haired lady (?) surrounded by dragon necks and cats. You've also got a red character under her, which grabs attention, but thanks to the composition I just mentioned, does not totally dominate the scene. The thing I've heard about making scenes with a lot of characters like this really work is by having a strong focal point. This is often achieved by a shaft of light over the dominant character, but there are other ways of doing this as well. I mention this just in case the characters I keep noticing because of the composition are not meant to be the main focal point. You might enjoy trying this trick with effects or lighting in future works with a lot of characters like this.
Your lighting on the human and anthropomorphic/furry characters is generally pretty good. Once we get to the blue dragon, it looks like the lighting has shifted a little bit, and it is kind of odd. It looks like the light is coming from the west at a bit of an angle, but when we reach the blue dragon, it looks like the lighting is coming up and hitting the horns more from below. The white cat-woman on the west is nicely shaded in accordance with the lighting, but the other white cat (?) in between the dragons does not appear to be affected by any lighting whatsoever. By an large, you lighting is very good. Adjusting a little on these two that I mentioned, would help make it even stronger in consistency. I often have problems with keeping my lighting consistent, so don't worry about it too much as you've already done better with your lighting than I would have had I done this.
The details and effects you put into the clothes are very well done. The one character with the veil/mask over the lower half of the face is the only one whose outfit is lacking. You need a few wrinkles where the veil fabric rises to cover the nose and at the edge of the face. The turban/headcovering looks like it should have a few more wrinkles too. The capes you have the characters wearing a just beautifully done. They look very convincing and aesthetically pleasing. The same can be said of the pants on the characters. You even added a bit of shading to the brown cat's necklace--a nice touch that shows you were paying attention to the details for each character. We can even see some suggestion of scales on the dragons. Cool! I did a dragon in colored pencil once, and the scales were an absolute nightmare! So speaking from experience, I can appreciate the addition of skin texture. The only thing I think you might try to improve on with the feline/furry characters is to give their fur more details. Right now, they don't really seem to have much fur so much as just bodies shaped more like a feline's. If that was what you're going for with the furries, that's a job well done. I think the cats do need some fur though. Are they short haired, silky haired or long haired? Right now we just don't really know, and that is something you can use to suggest things about your characters. Maybe one of them likes elegant things and has silky hair or the other is a scrapper and has short, scruffy hair. Even if you don't intend to suggest things through their hair, it is a nice detail to add.
All-in-all, this is very nicely done. I appreciate the effort that must have gone into this. Keep up the good work!

Silly kitties on the left! ^v^
Nice work! How did you set this up? Did you do a base sketch starting from the back forward, or did you start with the ones at the front and work your way back? Looks like the latter, but I'm not really sure '^v^ Anyway, I love how everyone's personality really shines through here! It's so good! And, actually, I'm not seeing any technical points to bring up, for once. Amazing work!

They're just practicing some dance moves. :3
I did gesture drawings of everyone first, then started laying out and coloring them starting with the characters up front until I was done.

So, which one is the main character? The green lizard?

He's one of them. The story centers around a group of five, Merdejos is the green lizard. Then Lisa Adeptus, the girl with black hair that has a cat sitting on her head (the cat is part of the group). Aurora Mr'rkscull, the smallest of the three dragons, and Chiro, the small monkey like creature next to the green lizard.
