This morning here on the Horneboeg Heath at Hilversum/The Netherlands was one of THE mornings again: offering a beautiful open sky and mist on the heath!You already know the crow tree from another shot: [link]

Absoluting beautiful picture (of course).
This reminds me of a tree near my house: every morning in Spring and Fall the vultures will sit in the highest branches, their wings half unfolded to catch the sun. They look very beautiful and majestic, but I have never been able to take a very good picture of them (I don't have a strong zoom lens on my camera, and I can't get close enough).
All that aside: I really love the sky here: light enough to make the tree into a silhouette, but not so bright it burns out the picture.

I am ever so glad with my camera with its superzoom. Very many of my pics are only possible because of this zoom. A pity that you could not yet manage a good shot of your tree with the birds.
