Chapter 9: The Mindful Eternal

This was sort of a quick chapter to introduce a new Kind One, specifically the dark god of knowledge and understanding.

The theme of Illuminus is “mind-altering plants.” Many rituals preformed to contact him and request guidance involve taking a sacred drug of some kind and having your mind overloaded with frightening cosmic truths; that which is and was and will be and also what wasn’t and what won’t be and everywhere in between. So yeah, interactions with him tend to get trippy.

This was just a quick chapter before the big finale for Part1, chapter 10 is projected to be a lot longer. For now though, have fun with the exposition chapter!
