--English--I know that lot of manga designers has troubles with hands...
I've passed by this too.
This is the second tutorial: hand
It's just 3 steps:
1st - Draw the base of the hand. Like I'm showing above.
2nd - Draw the fingers. Draw the way you like.
3st - When the base and fingers are finished delete the surperior part of the base of the hand and do the fingers that were deleted.
P.S.: These names next to the hands are where they came from.

Eu sei que um monte de desenhistas de mangá têm problemas com mãos...
Eu já passei por isso também.
Esse é o segundo tutorial: mãos
São apenas 3 passos:
Primeiro - Desenhe a base da mão.
Segundo - Desenhe os dedos se tiver dúvida pegue referências de mangás ou tire uma foto da sua mão na pose que você quer (como eu fazia antigamente).
Terceiro - Quando tudo estiver pronto, apague a parte surperior da base da mão e refaça os dedos apagados.
P.S.: Esses nomes ao lado das mão são onde elas vieram.

Whoa! 2 years after I got 4000 views?! Thank you so much! I hope that it helped you somehow.
Since it doesn't have too much details it makes the things look easier. But I was thinking: Should I make a remake for this tutorial? I was thinking in putting more details and more poses of hands. For those who want to understand more the hands.

interesting way of drawing hands, I do with rectangles but I liked your work using a pentagon shape, added to favorites ^ ^! ... (excuse my English I translated from G00gle xD!).

Today I don't use sketches anymore, usually I already know how to draw or I use references images to draw.
The pentagon shape was the most easy way to understand the hand anatomy. I've seen some artists using rectangles too, but I prefer the pentagons! XD

I know this is a pretty old tutorial, so if you are going to make an update. I sure hope you do it by put some more work on the fingers here.
You really shouldn't tell people to "draw the fingers whatever you like"; fingers do have a structure and they do have limitations. These hands lack phalanges, which has nothing to do with "details" but with joints and knuckles. I'd suggest you study the hand anatomy a bit further if you are going to update this.

No problems. This was just a basic, because I remember very well when I was trying to draw hands. IT was very difficult, when I could draw one of these I was very happy. It's up to the person to look forward advancing.

Realmente foi um troço pra mim aprender a fazer mãos.
Mas depois de um tempo eu comecei a entender isso.
Um mangá que ajuda muito como referência são os mangás da CLAMP.

to me the shoulder isn't a big problem.
in most of times I hide the shoulder with pleats of clothes.
(great strategy XD)
some time ago I always hid the hand behind the back, inside the pockets, but I couldn't do it always. Then CLAMP's stories inspired me with those long and beautiful hands, so I tried to put hands.
