I like the sand granular look. Makes me think that there is much more to the painting than what can be immediately seen.

Very nice piece, the looseness and fuzziness capture the mood perfectly, question though, how did you get that "splatter effect"? Did you mix in some terp?

yes - I did use medium of turp (OMS) and oil.
