M'Ress is a Caitian female Starfleet Officer currently assigned to USS Evergreen as Tactical Officer and Chief of Security.

She was the youngest entrant to ever apply for Starfleet Academy at the age of 16 in 2260. Her main hobby is Poetry. She majored in Xenolinguistics and graduated 6 years later with the rank of Ensign and assigned to USS Hood as a Communications Officer. She too has a history of taking command of her ship when it's entire bridge crew was killed during a Kzinti attack. Being the highest ranking officer left she took command and was able to deceive the Kzin long enough for the Hood to call for help. She later served aboard a scout ship and was promoted to Lieutenant in only 2 years.

In 2269 she was assigned to USS Enterprise NCC-1701 under Captain James Kirk. She was a Communications Trainee under the ship's Communications Officer: Nyota Uhura and often served as Relief Communications Officer.

By 2285 she had worked her way up to Commander and was assigned to USS Evergreen under Captain Bert Raccoon. Although she found it difficult at first because Bert and most of the other officers had been promoted so quickly for their efforts in fighting off a cloaked Romulan ship that attacked the USS Hawking during their training mission, she quickly recognized their abilities and was proud to serve with them. She still substitutes at Communications when Lisa is off duty or on away missions and is helping to train her. They've become good friends.

She misses her time on the Enterprise but has gotten adjusted to life on the Evergreen. She's also helping her fellow officers develop their abilities further based on her years of experience. Bert expects she'll be promoted to Captain and get her own ship soon.
