Think I bit off a little bit more than I could chew with this one despite enjoying the process & provided you dont look to long or too close its not too bad xD

what would prolly help this is some bolder lines around the characters to pull them out a little and separate them from each other. especially the ones in the front. but i was impressed by this one the secound i saw it because robots and robots done well and right are incredibly difficult. its all the geomerty that has to be done correctly that really chews you up and spits you out when it comes to thinks like transformers gundams and voltron. so my hat is off to you my friend. really like the hatching lines on the bottom left guy's arms. sorry i don't know the transformers names all that well. at least not the original designs.

Hey Hobz, thanks for your comments, feedback is always appreciated though it helps that Jimbo is an amazing talent as is a pleasure to work on.
I do actually agree with you, this was one of the 1st pieces I did when I started out and was probably the biggest mistake I made outside colouring it. I have been toying with the Idea of re-doing it as I still have the Original art file knocking around on one of my old hard drives but this was a pretty monumental piece in terms of time so that kinda puts me off a bit
Who knows, I might get too it soon

when i was in art school we had to do these mandatory critiques atthe begining of every class we would stand up there in fron of everyone and go arond the room and they were REQUIRED to say something they would change or fix about the work to the artist as they stood there and took it. and of course most people would try to be nice and the teacher would push them, and the point was to get us hardened to critiques.but the thing about da is you get a lot of "awesome" "this is great" type comments, and thats great and all but they don't really help you get better. i go to a lot of cons and i ALWAYS get critiques. and those guys kick your butt and that is what really helps. and its not like you are gonna go back to that page and make the changes but you are going to think about that on other pieces in the future. with that being said i can look at stuff i did five years ago, and any leaps and bounds in ability for me come from the pros who kicked my butt and tore my portfolio to pieces. so i try to do the same when i comment as of late not doing fly by favorites with out commenting. so that being said i wouldn't expect you to dust of that file or anything, i hate opening old files and trying to get back into them. sorry about the length wheni get on a key board i just ramble...

Realised, coming back later to look at this, that the BG is a little to aggressive and could probably do with toning down a little D:
