Thank you very much! I actually became a bit disappointed with FF9 after they sorta wrapped up Freya's subplot with her homeland of Burmecia early in the game. Needs more Freya.

Yeah... And it also needs to make Freya plush dolls... There are Vivi plushies... I have yet to make it past the 2nd CD so I don't really know... But the game is good

Freya was by far my favorite character in FF9...followed by Amarant...which is why I had to do some fan art of them!

I've never been huge on final fantasy but I've always thought Freya was a really cool character :3
You drew her hands with a lot of precision (especially the one holding the staff dealy), as well as the ruffles and wrinkles in her clothes. I like that you kept all the line art showing because of that.

Thanks. I'm kinda stuck with line art being a part of my work. I don't want it to turn into a rut but it's really become part of my style. Still, I've always wanted to become more loose and gestural with my work, much like the work you do in painter...really great stuff by the way.

I can understand how you feel. It's easy to get caught up in one way of doing things, especially if you've gotten really good at it. You should try some other media. Painter is awesome for experimenting with a looser style in, as is oil paint and chalk-type things :3.

FF9 is still on my extensive "to play" list. (it's going away slowly) I am however familiar with the stories of most of the characters. I have seen a great many fan artworks of Freya, this is among the best.

FF9 was okay. One of my friends told me it was Square's way of showing Disney they could make a cutesy game to get the bit to do Kingdom Hearts. The story was good until the end. I didn't care much for the main characters, but I loved the side characters, especially Freya and Amarant.

FF9 was okay. My friend says that is was Square's way of showing Disney that they could make a cutesy RPG so they could get the okay to make Kingdom Hearts. Don't know if that's the case though.
All in all it was an okay game. I really liked the characters, but I my opinion, the story got stupid by the end.
