You, sir, are an inspiration to DIY wargamers everywhere.
Honestly, with the way Games-Workshop have been jacking upΒ their prices lately I'm surprised we don't see home-built rigs like this more often. Seriously, $170 for a single Knight Castellan!? Β

That's really cool how you can make simple things you find at your house into a custom model you have. It's one thing to dominate the table top world but it's another to see your enemy look at your model and be like, wow I want dat!

I can't comprehend that you made this thing out of that stuff. That's not art, that's witchcraft.

ROFL Thanks, there was a lot of glue involved I love making things from recycled stuff. Every bottle top is a bulkhead and every toilet roll is a tower. I collect useful materials constantly, put it all together and paint it

I've saved this and when I am home and have a spare weekend this will be my next big project! Absolutely awesome work, but I will go for a dark green pus dripping look to go with the rest of my army.
By the way is it sturdy or quite delicate? It looks like the model is well supported and has a strong skeleton of pieces. Hard to see really.

From a Product design perspective, this figure is already detailness to the max. I like the final colour you apply. Make the figure looks abit rusty and give it a dangerous feel

Thanks mate, yer I really like the rusty look to it. I am trying to decide if i should do a proper full Nurgle paint job on it or leave it as it is. What do u think ?

well this is already very nice looking. But i can visualise the nurgle paint job too. Hmm if u add the right amount of dirty green and etc, the nurgle paint job will be damn cool.
Maybe u can take a picture of the current Plague Knight, then use photoshop and illustrate out the final look with nurgle paint. If is nice, i will support you to go for it

Hmmmm... I do really want to go for it. Have been painting so many yellow things for so long, it would be nice to paint something green for a change Still wanna keep the rusty undertone to it tho.

Yup you sure do it then. As long as you dont paint too much green, the thing will still retain its rusty look. Cant wait to see the new look of the plague knight
