i don't have an ipod and such so i never tried them out but are these icon's really works?

They are the exact same shape as the native icon pictures for an ipod or iphone, you just need to jailbreak before you can use them.

when I did a respring after hiding my carrier with springtomize my background is black, which I havent yet to figure out how to reverse and some icons like my phone icon is gone. did any of that happen to you? I'm still messing around with it.

That's odd, it didn't do that to me. Try a hard reboot and see if that fixes it.

ya it was custom capabilities. when I turned it on it went crazy. but I got it cleared up
