........ Yeah, this Isn't ripping off anything at all!^v^;Seriously though, I think it's a neat concept for a character to meet his/her past self!
Just like Sonic Generations is doing!I MIGHT do more with other characters just to piss you off!
Anyway here are some of the differences between classic and modern Kirby:
- Classic is a bit bigger and chubbier than modern
- Classic has beedy black eyes while modern has bigger eyes with a shade of blue
- Classic has pointy arms and whisker-like cheeks while modern has circular cheeks and round arms

Maybe Kirby will travel to various stages throughout his past(just like Modern Sonic did). I have a list of past stages I want to see in a possible Kirby game like this:
1. Green Greens (Kirby's Dream Land)
2. Butter Building (Kirby's Adventure)
3. Big Forest (Kirby's Dream Land 2)
4. Candy Mountain (Kirby Super Star)
5. Sand Canyon (Kirby's Dream Land 3)
6. Rock Star (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards)
7. Candy Constellation (Kirby & The Amazing Mirror)
8. Vocal Volcano (Kirby: Squeak Squad)
9. Egg Engines (Kirby's Return to Dream Land)
10. Old Odyssey (Kirby: Triple Deluxe)
11. Resolution Road (Kirby: Planet Robobot)

Also, Classic Kirby will play out like an old Kirby platformer, as for Modern Kirby...well, let's just say it's similar to Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot, with the edition of 3D Warp Stars.

Super Smash Bros. (N64) was, at the same time, the last game to use Classic Kirby (artwork only) and the first game to use modern Kirby (in the actual game itself).

Classic was also completely white, but I guess that was a fault on Nintendo of America's behalf, as they didn't know what colour Nintendo wanted Kirby at the time.

I like the idea of Kirby Generations
I think the rival battles would be like Classic Dedede, and classic Meta Knight
while the bosses would be like Classic HR-D3, Dark Matter, Marx, and many others like that
