Description Since the series has been cancelled, I guess there's no harm to explain my theory.

I believe that General Modula is actually the mysterious man who gives Solomon orders and who brought Octus back in the last episode. In the first episode, it is said he was presumed dead after he was attacked. He must of came to Earth completely damaged. That is probably how G3 got that hands on Galalunan tech.

I think the Traitor Modula was the work of Lance's school rival, Baron. He has proven to be merciless and show no honor. Maybe having Modula look like a traitor would ruin the good general's legacy.

I maintain the theory that Modula somehow just went evil, or the hat on his head is actually some sort of mind control creature/device and his body is being controlled. Baron probably wouldn't have as much to gain by posing as Modula as he would by posing as a mysterious figure. A sense of betrayal would make the desire to have a resistance stronger and a lie would be harder to keep up in the first place. He doesn't have motivation for ruining the general's rep, and Modula seem to have done a lot that would require large amounts of inside information on the palace, the King, etc.,things Baron just doesn't have. He's also very vain and wouldn't want anyone thinking someone else did all this, unless that someone else was just him under a different name. (like, as I said, if he had posed as just an unknown dictator that struck fear in their hearts.)
I hold strong to the theory that the guy in the shadows is Lance's dad, Edward. He wanted Solomon to observe them, not to interfere directly, probably because he either suspected they were Galalunan, wasn't convinced like the rest of G3 that they were the ones bringing the evil aliens to Earth, or was just more sympathetic to them because he himself is an alien and didn't want to make judgments too quickly. Besides that, ALL the G3 agents had Galalunan tech. It's very likely that Edward, the head scientist and inventor, not to mention weapons expert, on Galaluna, made them for G3. Even Octus having similar coding and being able to be fixed by him gives evidence to this, because the King was also close with Edward, so he could have had some of his old plans,or even prototypes of Octus. Which would also explain why Octus and the others can form Titan in the first place, because Edward invented the armor Lance uses, and likely Ilana's as well, so Octus and Titan would be a good possibility of something he would and could invent and be able to fix. Besides that, while it would fit that Modula was assumed dead, making us think he was in some horrible accident or attack, and that would explain why he has a fake hand, Edward was in this situation as well. When he went through the rift gate, everyone knew this was dangerous and assumed that he had died in the process. Chances are, he was seriously injured, but able to fix parts of himself with his technological genius. The rift gate being Edward's cause of disappearance and assumed death and Modula's being just a plan gone wrong on another nearby planet is a major thing here too. Like, Modula may have very well had knowledge of the technology, he was friend's with Edward and a general after all, but then how did he get on Earth? Did he really travel countless light-years, with no ship to speak of, let alone one powerful enough to get that far, alone, for no reason? Did he have a reason to go to Earth instead of his home or one closer by? If an enemy sent him far off, they'd probably have just sent him into deep space, or a planet known to be deadly, or just killed him. Why would he be on Earth? But Edward went through the rift gate, which is how things have been travelling from Galaluna to Earth this whole time. Hi alien connections, expertise with technology and weapons, and the rift gate bringing him to Earth, would explain how he got with G3. He said there was a reason he had to go through the rift gate too, although he never explained why that is, because there wasn't enough time and we didn't get enough episodes. An unknown reason, or just plain not noticing/recognizing Lance, could be why he doesn't confront the group directly, even though his kid is in the group. Modula would have the same excuse, honestly, even though the princess, who's like family to him, is there. Plus they both have the possibility of amnesia after an accident lie that, but Edward seems like a much more likely candidate.
This idea is pretty much canon for me, like a 90% accepted headcanon, so it kind of hurts because, Lance is his baby, and he's RIGHT THERE, but he doesn't talk to him, and Lance has so many unanswered questions, and he could help them, and he did in the last episode, but he could talk to them, and Lance wouldn't have to be an orphan anymore, he could get some answers, and they could be together, and abjsdkfdlk

Um... I never thought of that. I thought the guy with the glove was Lance's father. I just assumed he was stranded on earth and couldn't get home, so he designed an organization to collect alien technology. Again, theory, but what the hay? Show's cancelled, anything goes.

Here's the obvious:
Lances Dad goes through rift gate: unshielded, no armor or anything.
He's an Expert on Galalunian tech, as he is a scientist.

G3 Personnel possess Galalunian weapons, and their uniforms are Similar to those of the Galalunian army.

Cyborg figure (full body seen in last episode) has a design Similar to Octus, and is able to Repair Octus with ease.

It's OBVIOUS: the Cyborg is Lances Dad.

as for my theory on Modula: the over-sized hat, with it's own Laser eye, points to Mutraddi creature controlling him.

I believe that Baron may be working for Modula, helping him keep a lid on things on Galaluna, and the mystery man in G3 is Lance's father, crash landing on Earth and using a MANUS suit to stay alive. As for Modula, he is probably being controlled by a Mutradi parasite.

My theory is that
Mysterious man is Lance father
Modula is evil because he is controled by mutradi who is under his hat
Sorry my english is not wery good
