Thanks for the critique
I used water to apply glitter for my other eye photos which worked fine which is essentially why I used water to apply sprinkles. It's easy to clean and won't greatly irritate the eye. I'm not sure what other adhesives are available for safe use so close to the eye. Do you have any suggestions?
Yes, it's always hard being original especially with literalism/word play Given probability, everything has been done once or twice before

No problem!
I have no idea what sort of adhesive to use, however. I'm not an sticking-things-close-to-your-eyes expert. I suppose you could use an average Elmer's glue stick and stick them on one being very careful, though that would get tedious rather quickly I would think haha~
I suppose you are right about the word play/literalism thing. That's the hard thing about being completely original nowadays, everything has already been done it seems. @.@ It kind of sucks haha~

this is so pretty! and i love how your eye is blue while the candy is bright reds and pinks and whites. The shape of your eye gives it some cuteness too. ^.^ Very cute

You were asking for suggestions on adhesives in your critique... I suggest chapstick or clear lipgloss. Both are made for cosmetic use and won't irritate the eye too much!

hopefully you'll read this comment, because I am just in love with your eye in this image. The position makes it look like a newborn, also how it's slightly glazed over. And the sugar dots also makes it look like a child wrapped in candy. You get so much ideas from this one little image, fabulous work

I know you've heard this a lot of times before, but something about your eye is very mesmerizing, I like how it contrasts from the happy, colourful...colours around it.

I may have an obsession with your eye macro shots♥
And in my opinion I think the fact that the food colouring came off gave it an even more interesting effect. Though that may just be me ~ I have this thing with drippy stuff

compared to other "candy eyes" photos, this one seems most like an eye candy to me. <3 purely love this and I even somehow like the fact that the candy's are not stuck in "order" that some of them are waterry and that some of them rolled over a bit, it gives a sort of a 'softer' look to the image. And the soft/dreamy look in the eye is what paralyzes me the most for sure
