Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. Fluorescent light bulb in ice cream cone; fits perfectly surprisingly. Color balancing to bring out purple hues. Transparent yellow layer for vintage feel. Increased contrast. Decreased highlights.

Heh. Maybe fluorescent bulbs were just meant to be in ice cream cones?
Very nice colors, and I like the composition.
I think the cone and light bulb could be a little sharper, but maybe that's just me.

Well, you're going to be in for a shock if you bite into that. Bwahahaha. Sorry, had to be said.
Anyway, great concept and excellent work at producing it.

I heard somewhere that having these bulbs made consumes more energy than it saves in comparison to making a regular bulb. Is this just a rumor?
Oh, and nice job Very creative!

Nevermind. What I just said above is a rumor. Although it takes more energy to manufacture a fluorescent lightbulb, it is offset by the vast amount of electricity saved.

Totally cool concept. I love the link between the two shapes. Although, chocolate chip icecream sounds nicer than glass chips in my mouth...
