Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. Fluorescent light bulb in ice cream cone; fits perfectly surprisingly. Color balancing to bring out purple hues. Transparent yellow layer for vintage feel. Increased contrast. Decreased highlights.

I thought it was actual icecream at first so I started ataring at it for 5 minutes trying to figure out how they did that, then I noticed that it was a lightbulb! I feel stupid...

I find this somehow hillarious, as I knew I should have seen this coming, but it's so very much awesome, and the idea is quite cool. I love the shot, and how that lightbulb looks just right in that cone... 0_o

The muted accents of pink and white are both beautiful and alluring. I love the overall message and even without the words, it is communicated expertly. Your precision with color and light and focus in this photograph came together flawlessly.
