Above is a satellite image of extensive Russian defensive works around the vital crossroads town of Popasnya at hat any Ukrainian offensive in the Kherson region will have to go through to make any worthwhile gains. These defense works are miles deep including wide anti-tank ditches to slow and trap tanks, dragons death and overlapping per-sighted weapons emplacements and tank firing positions covering the only approach that can be used for a large push. EVEN WORSE is the 300,000/500,000 strong reserve force also waiting for this attack or their own orders to launch a massive push if the Ukrainians fail to make a move.

This "spring/summer" maybe counteroffensive is already in jeopardy of not happening due to lack of experienced soldiers and officers and heavy equipment. Making things even more grim for any poor bastard ordered into this attack is the fact Russia has prepared Extensive defense in depth around key towns and vital crossroads needed for any large advance. These will serve as fallback positions for front line troops to retreat to while Ukraine forces are totally exposed and funneled into well prepared killzones just like at the battle of Kursk except this will be MUCH more one sided. This is it for Ukraine. if they are criminally stupid enough to make this attack they already know RF is literally just sitting there and daring them to do it. GO AHEAD it will make the war months shorter.
