Well, I suppose that does explain why the visitor speaks in Trixie's text color.
It's because Trixie has snapped from loneliness and frustration and is hallucinating while she talks to herself. No princess would ever deign to visit her, after all, so this must be a hallucination.

I personally do not like the idea of world where everything is reverse. Where bad villains are good, and good heroes are bad. I would prefer if it was more random, where characters are diferent because they took diferent rotue in life, but not full white/black swap. Still, if I was visited by my opposide who is famous, powerful, respected and tranformed into a being on diferent level, while knowing that it is opposide of me, I would feel really depressed.

Based on the show and Rainbow Rocks, I'd say Trixie has a -2 to wisdom saves at least. She'd probably fall hook, line, and sinker for any kind of flattery, no matter how transparent the sarcasm.

Honestly, Trixie should be princess and not Twilight. At the end of Magic Duel, all Twilight did was use telekinesis, but Trixie can do combustion magic.

True, Trixie's magic was much more powerful than Twilight's in that episode but that is simply because she used the Alicorn Amulet. The red magic along with the vague back story for it shows that the amulet gave the user enhanced dark magic in exchange for taking control of the user's mind. Twilight came close to matching Trixie without the use of amulets, whereas Trixie without the amulet is limited to just simple show stunts.

No, I'm talking about Trixie's fireworks at the end versus Twilight' telekinesis. Rarity can perform just as good telekinesis, and in MMC, Rarity could even move clouds around. Fireworks are much more impressive than simple telekinesis.

Yeah, that was something that just felt... off about that episode. Twilight's big show was her lifting stuff up with magic? Literally every unicorn can do that. And just previously in that episode we saw her nearly pull off one of the most difficult spells possible (age spell). I wish the writers had made the performance a little more spectacular.

I wouldn't call making a flower close an age spell. That would be like making someone's hair shorten or grow, like the mustache spell. The reality is as I said, Twilight is very much a novice. In fact, instead of making her a princess, they should have given her a slice of humble pie by having her meet graduates/alumni of Celestia's school for gifted unicorns, and meet some high level unicorns. Instead, the show decided in season 3 to turn Twilight into a deux ex machina. It started with her casting the dark magic spell in the Crystal Palace. Something she was just automatically able to acquire from Celestia. Then they went ridiculously further in season 4 by adding alicorn magic.Β
I preferred it when magic was something Twilight learned, not something she acquired. Twilight being a student and pupil was the thing that drew many people to the show.

Twilight lifted a bear the size of a house and levitated it, what, a mile (?) out of town in the "Boast Busters" episode. She could do a heck of a lot more than levitate a few little animals if she can do that: as I said, the writers have to do quite a bit of nerfing to keep some episodes from being "Twilight Sparkle solves a problem effortlessly, the continuing story"

That is hilarious, and pretty accurate.
Yeah, I agree with you about the whole keep Twilight nerfed so the episodes have conflict thing. ItΒ definitelyΒ seems to be the case with some of these episodes. Still, can't really complain. Conflict is what makes it interesting after all.

Heck, if Twilight consistently and intelligently used all the powers she's displayed at one time or another on the show, she'd be Supermare. Writers end up nerfing her quite a bit.
