Description
You felt dumb for what you were about to do, but you couldn't allow the love of your life to simply disappear from your life.

You just couldn't.

Taking a deep breath, you jolted across the ruins of New York, making it seem as though you were simply a panicked citizen, before stopping behind a overly large male with a hammer in his hand.

Suddenly, you were beamed up from Earth, no, away from Earth.

Little did you know, you were spotted.

Not by one of those you hid behind, but by someone far, far away, who was about to be much closer.

Within minutes you were surrounded by color. Golden hues and vibrant silver. You blinked in surprise, before realizing you had to get out of there.

The 'Warriors', as they referred to themselves, began to stomp off, their prisoner within reach.

You sighed, careful not to make too much noise, before rushing to the side, hiding behind whatever you could find.

"You have an intruder among you." A voice spoke. You couldn't identify the speaker until they moved directly in front of you.

You trembled and shook, expecting them to point you out or give you away, but they did nothing of the sort.

"A Midguardian followed you," The man spoke. "I do not know where he is now, for the sight of him evades me, but do your best to follow, once you have secured Loki."

You heard a few grunts, and winced lightly as you heard a strangled cry, more like a muffled moan than anything.

"Thank you, Heimdall, we will keep a look out."

You looked at the golden armor, tracing every detail from what you could see, as whoever wore it started to walk off.

They suddenly stopped,

"And when you find the Midguardian, do not harm them. I do not believe he knows where he is."

"Yes, Heimdall." A feminine voice chirped.

You slunk from the shadows, following the others quietly, careful not to make a sound until you were on the other side, and they were far from you.

You panted and looked ahead, making sure to keep an eye on at least one of them at all times.

You blinked once, and suddenly, they were out of your sight. You cursed quietly and rushed ahead.

----Time skip----

Several weeks had passed since you landed on this strange land with the others. Several weeks had passed since you saw your beloved.

You never let that stop you.

Now you were in some sort of palace, your voice hushed as you whispered,

"Loki? Loki, can you hear me?"

You mentally face-palmed as you realized that even if he could, he had a muzzle on him, and was probably too weak to speak.

After wandering throughout the halls, you found yourself in a dark cellar.

Directly across from you was a lit room containing a cell, the lighting was dim, but you could just make out a faint outline of someone.

Loki.

You rushed forward, not caring of the noise your shoes made as they slammed against the stone floor. You didn't stop, not until you were forced to, running into the metallic bars of the cell.

"Loki!" You whispered loudly.

He lifted his head, his eyes meeting yours, before looking down once more.

Despite the pain in your rib cage, and face, you smiled lovingly.

"Listen, I know you think you failed, but you didn't, really." You reassured your love, who in turn looked up from the ground, inquiry pasted in his gaze.

"You may have not conquered Earth, or Midguard, or whatever you want to call it," He seemed to scowl at your words, you couldn't tell, thanks to the muzzle. "But you did conquer my heart."

Your heart fluttered in your chest as you looked at him, he had to be smiling now, for happiness spread to his eyes, which were now looking at you warmly.

A faint voice was heart behind you,

"Do you hear that, Fandral? It sounds like a voice coming from. . .Lokis' cellar!"

Footsteps pounded in the hallway across from you.

You looked from the hallway, back to Loki, who looked worried.

"I'll try to come back, Loki." He nodded and pointed his head towards what looked like an exit. You nodded, and rushed towards it, leaping out of the cellar.

A voice boomed behind you,

"What are you up to, Loki?!"

You smiled, relieved, sure they wouldn't do anything to him.

You looked back at the exit you had just came through.

'I'll keep my promise, Loki,' You thought to yourself. 'I promise.'

Little did you know you would never see him again.
