Meet Sally Pride: A mutant lioness and member of the Mighty Mutanimals from the TMNT IDW comics.

In the IDW comics, she was an ordinary lioness until she was mutated by a company called Null Industries. Afterwards she and two other mutants, Man Ray and Mutagen Man, were saved by the Mutanimals.

My backstory for her is different.

Sally Ride was a rock star until one night, during a performance, she was hit with mutagen turning her into a lioness. Afterwards, while roaming the streets, she stopped a mugger which caught the eye of Slash. He offered her a place with the Mutanimals and, with no where else to go, she agreed. She would form a bound with Mona Lisa, who she would see as a mentor.
