They were chosen by the Ninja Tribunal, along with the Turtles, to train to fight the Tengu Shredder. Durring their training, each of the Acolytes and Turtles formed a friendship.

The only issues I had was that none of them had a more significant roles in the episodes and were there to just be there. And that none of them got any powers despite having the same medallions as the Turtles.

In my headcanon, they, like the Turtles would have elemental powers.

. Joi an Element Of Fire.

. Tora an Element Of Lightning.

TRIVIA:

. I gave them a more modern look and the same chi markings as the Turtles.

I think the best voice actors for them are

. Chadwick Bosseman (Black Panther) as Faraji.

. Jack Black (School Of Rock) as Adam.

. Uma Thurman (Kill Bill) as Joi.

. Jackie Chan as Tora.
