I wanted to draw this for a while now 83 but this is Mai and Jesus, and as Jesus is putting out his arms so Mai out stretches his wings some. In UW Mai is the representation of Jesus, and is the same exact way. The reason i have made Mai the way he is is because, when the Jewish people, the pharisees and people everywhere see a human man who was a remarkable mile stone in our history, stating new religion, but that is now what i see.I see My God within him, Jesus is the Son of God as it is said in the New Testament and old, many prophets since the beginning of time, has predicted Jesus' birth, saying he is the Son of God. But why this gigantic lion, eagle and tiger creature?
Mai is 3 in one, as it is said that God is 3 in one, Father, Spirit and Son, but there is a very important thing to this. When i see Jesus, i do not see just a mere human man as others do, I see GOD a powerful and beautiful spirit, that is holy enough to save us by dieing for us, and guarding our souls with his Spirit. When i see Jesus of course i see him as many have portrayed him, but i also see this great spirit of God, and nothing will change my mind! :3

Mai is a lion, tiger, and eagle character. Not Gryphon. He is the king of the universe and has ruled justly for since the beginning of time. He is the representation of Jesus, thus is why i drew him and Jesus together. LOL.
Mai is pure white, except for his paw pads, his pink nose, and his shimmering grey stripes. His eyes were bright aqua and true blue, they move like waves on the ocean, bringing a peace to who ever looks at him.
He is the protector of the universe, and the one who has saved us all, even if we don't know it.

Sounds very interesting. I can definitely see the similarities between this character and Jesus. Both loving and caring for their children.

Awesome pic! How you use Mai to represent Jesus reminds me of how C.S. Lewis used Aslan to represent Jesus in Chronicles of Narnia.
I know this is off topic, but I finished drawing out your picture. I just need to touch it up. You don't mind if I use screen tones with a little color splash or simple coloring for it? It would take forever if I were to color it like I usually do with all the characters and details. XD
