Slight spoilers: events in Guardians of the Galaxy lead to a wonderful scene of a little potted Baby Groot swaying along to the Jackson 5's I Want You Back. It was such a cute, fun moment that I decided I wanted to make a custom figure of it. I started out using the cap of a tube of acrylic paint and used Aves to build around it to make the little pot. Then I sculpted Aves on top of a twisty wire armature to create Baby Groot himself. I tried to get the headsculpt to look cute, and I'm glad it wasn't a super detailed face to sculpt.
