Over on Figurerealm, there was an "Animal Instincts" contest. I went the route of "character with an animal in his/her name". I wanted to create a more organic, slightly biopunk take on Black Widow. The concept started with "spider legs" around her waist and with a friend's help, that idea solidified into that of a symbiote Widow. Used Donna Troy for the base, with head, hands, Widow's Bite bracelets and belt from a Marvel Select Black Widow. Needed extra circles from another of the same MS Widow figure to finish the belt all the way around. I wanted to achieve something that would look organic and a little creepy but not messy. Made the "legs" around her waist from twisty wire and used Aves and ProCreate for all the symbiote tendrils. The red hourglass "tramp stamp" is something I'm pretty happy with, haha.
