This is very nice. I love the way it's done. Not often you see a were reindeer. But just one question...if it's a female...why does she have antlers? Only bucks have antlers.

Yes, female reindeer DO have antlers; they are just smaller than the males'.

Depending on the breed. White tails don't get antlers, reds don't either.

It is hard for me to tell whether I like the background or the character more, as they blend together seamlessly and complement each other so well. It's not like I want to segregate the picture in such a way, but both components are so captivating that I keep going back and forth, studying each in turn. The reindeer's elegance is rivaled only by the surrounding plants and quiet morning glow. The setting is perfect (and it reminds me of the mountains around here). I'd be somewhat contemplative in such a setting, too! Job well done.

Bloody 'ell mate. It be goin' without sayin' that ye have talent. It almost seems that the plants are growin' up around her. An' that creates quite a mystical feel. And the jewelry is a excellent touch as well.

You know what I love about this the most? That eventhough she's in the middle of a snowcoated field, all around her, and her alone are all these beautiful blooming and hearty plants. And the plant choices are actually what make it so enchanting... the combination of droopy with straight stalk plants... all contrasted with the flow of her loincloth skirt and her flowing hair... Mad Props to you.
