My husband started watching/listening to Critical Role and got me into it. I am 3 years late to this fandom, but it has lit a fire in me. It's too cool to watch actors bring characters like this to life and actually care to see them grow and develop. It's really inspiring.This guy in particular. Oh, man.
Anyway. Grateful for this series. Trying to avoid spoilers, but the fan community is so enticing... there's things I was spoilered on that would have been more fun to experience, but oh well. I'm on episode 68, so the intensity is ramping up.

Not a scene as much as highlighting the player decision to not sleep and stay up studying instead to raise up his intelligence and charisma. It was nice to see him set aside his childishness to become a better team member for his family. But if this was an actual scene, I could picture this happening right before the rakshasa's return for his revenge on Vax. Scanlan was the only one awake to come to his aid because he was studying in the middle of the night.
