"Snakestrike yawned lazily, laying on the warm forest floor. Of course, he wasn't really supposed to be in ThunderClan territory, but hey, the ShadowClan--should be called SwampClan--had no where nice to just stretch out without getting all muddy or having some warrior yell at you for "lazing about" and "not doing anything". It was ridiculous, honestly. Why not let the apprentices do the work? StarClan knows that there are too many of them to begin--

"W-what are you doing here?"

He glanced up and saw a pretty little grey-shecat standing in front of him, her gorgeous blue eyes opened wide. Seeing that she doesn't seem to be much of a threat, he stands, shaking the dust from his fur and grinning at her smugly.

"Why would you want to know...?" he mews, taking a few steps towards her, letting his tail brush her flank. She shivers, and almost flinches away from him.

"You're not supposed to be here--I'm g-getting a warrior..."

"No need for that." barks a crisp voice. Snakestrike groans irritably, flicking his ears back. "I'll just take Snakestrike back home and it'll be the end of that..."

"Alas, Mapleshade," he says, turning to grace the tortoiseshell with one of his most winning looks. "Must you always spoil my fun?"

She glares at him. He smiles gently back. "

Aah, poor Petalwind! She should ignore Snakestrike--he hits on almost anyone. xD Later in the roleplay, she runs, and inadvertently leads the two ShadowClanners to the ThunderClan camp. I'm currently writing a post where Snakestrike, in the midst of battle, has a brainflash and decides to kid--er, catnnap her in order to trade her back for more territory.
