ARC Commander Walker is a veteran ARC officer and serves as the commander of the 2552nd ARC Company - who prefer to call themselves 'Spartan Company.'

Because CT-1220 was born later than most of the troopers who would see action at the First Battle of Geonosis, he wouldn't see deployment until after the Mission to Florrum. Due to this, CT-1220 would spend the first few months of the Clone Wars either finishing his training or watching the HoloNet news about the war - even though he could tell that half of it was a load of crap. During the final days of his training, he would also see how other squads perform on the Citadel Course, including Domino Squad. Within Domino, one of the troopers - known as CT-1991 or 'Belle' - had knowledge of a world he hadn't heard of, which included that of a unique 'race' who were known as 'Spartans.' Inspired by this, CT-1220 did what he could to find out about these soldiers, but would also find another reference - or images - to these 'Spartans,' equipped with very unique armor and weapons, and different to what he had learned. Inspired by this unique soldier and the 'Spartan race,' CT-1220 used this as his reason to prove his worth as a trooper. Inadvertently, one of the images of the more unique Spartans - white armor, blue stripes, and a very unique helmet - also gave him his nickname of 'Walker.'

When it was Walker's time in the Citadel Test, not only did he complete the course in 'ARC Trooper Time' - giving both Bravo and Domino Squad a run for their money - but he performed in such an admirable and impressive fashion it impressed ARC Commanders Colt, Blitz, Havoc and Hammer to the extent that he was immediately pipe-lined into ARC Trooper Training. Had this not happened, he would have been assigned to a unit around the same time as the Battle of Falleen (part of the Skytop Station campaign). Once Walker obtained his ARC Trooper status, he was assigned to CC-2801's - Commander Tacks - Regiment, the 29th Special Operations Regiment. Here, Walker would perform admirably for the next year serving as one of Tack's best ARC Troopers. Eventually, Walker's success record and skills would lead to him being promoted to ARC Commander and placed in command of an entire ARC Company - 2552nd, to be exact.

When Walker assumed command of the unit, nearly every single ARC Trooper and Officer had heard of his steadfast attitude in battle and an unbreakable will to see the mission through. When questioned about this, Walker told them of his source of inspiration and recited what he had learned from Belle back on Kamino when he was a cadet. Impressed by these 'Spartans,' all of the ARC troopers came to a decision with the idea of re-decorating their armor and renaming themselves as 'Spartan Company.' When their commander agreed to this, everyone got to work with the paint tins. The end result was - with the exception of Walker - every single ARC Trooper now wears a unique set of ARC Trooper Armor, with the primary color being olive green with light silver markings done up in a similar manner to that of the 212th Attack Battalion, topped with a gold visor and a unique emblem on their helmets.

Since the assignment, Walker has continued to lead his ARC Troopers, which he has started calling 'Spartans,' on the front lines in some of the most hotly contested front lines in the Galaxy. As a primary means of transportation to every battle that the 2552nd took part in, the Spartans would call the Venator Star Destroyer Cruiser Pillar of Autumn, captained by a naval captain named Jack Keyes, their home. Unfortunately for the Spartans, the Pillar of Autumn would be lost in battle, with Captain Keyes going down with the ship, resulting in them transferring their home to the Acclamator-class Assault Ship Forward Unto Dawn, which was coincidentally commanded by Naval Commander Mirada Keyes, the daughter of Captain Keyes.

During the Battle of Felucia, Walker and his Spartans assisted Jedi General Aayla Secura, Clone Marshal Commander Bly, and the 327th Star Corps when Order 66 was initiated. Although he respected the importance of orders for a soldier, Walker did not believe that the Jedi were truly traitors, so Walker instead ordered his Spartans to disregard Order 66 and instead help Commander Bly and the Jedi loyal clones of the 327th to protect General Secura. Although Walker's Spartans were devoted to him, not all of his men followed his order, resulting in nearly twenty-five percent of the 2552nd ARC Spartan Company to turn against him and the remaining Jedi loyal Spartans. After the newly named Imperialist Spartans of the 2552nd were dealt with, Walker ordered the remaining Spartans to help the Jedi and Jedi loyal clones deal with the Imperialist 327th clones.

Walker, his Spartans, the Jedi loyal clones of the 327th, and Aayla Secura managed to hold off the imperialist 327th long enough for gunships and shuttles carrying female clones to arrive and provide rescue for them. After getting aboard the gunships and shuttles, Walker and the rest of his Spartans of the 2552nd would join the surviving Jedi, Jedi loyal male clones, and the new female clones would go into exile in the Unknown Regions to a planet called Ossus. After setting up a base for the 2552nd on a nearby dwarf planet, which he had named Reach, Walker began to work with the rest of the Jedi Loyalist Forces to launch attacks and military campaigns against the newly formed Galactic Empire. Throughout many of the campaigns that Walker and his Spartans launched against the Empire or took part in alongside another clone unit, Walker took pride in the chaos that his Spartans caused to the Empire.

Sometime after Chiss Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn defected from the Galactic Empire and joined the Jedi Starfleet, which had been renamed the Amidala Imperial Navy, Walker would take one of the new Venator II-class Star Destroyer Cruisers, and named it the Pillar of Autumn II; however, when the new Liberator-class Super Star Destroyer was released, and fourteen of these ships were made, one of them was converted to a supercarrier variant and given to the 2552nd and named the Infinity, which was commanded by Captain Thomas Lasky, who eventually became a Fleet Admiral. Walker would lead the 2552nd ARC Spartan Company in many battles when the Amidala Empire forged an alliance with the growing Rebel Alliance and took part in the Battle of Endor. Leading his Spartans on the planet's surface, Walker fought against the Imperial Stormtroopers when the Death Star II blew up, prompting Walker to cheer alongside his men at the destruction of the Imperial superweapon, and the subsequent death of Emperor Palpatine.
