Description
The All-Terrain Tactical Crawler Tank or AT-TC Tank was effectively the body of an All-Terrain Tactical Enforcer, placed upon a set of tank treads, allowing the tank to possess better armor than its walker variant. The AT-TC was also able to reach a higher level of speed than its walker cousin making it a favorite among some tank commanders, while still allowing the AT-TE to maintain its status as the Grand Army of the Republic's top mainline battle tank. The AT-TC would, however, come to possess respect among many Republic tank commanders, and would become a staple within the GAR tank motor pool.

Many GAR tank commanders would often pair the AT-TC with many of the other military tank units in the Grand Army of the Republic, though they would also often devise other combative tactics with the AT-TC on its own. Many tank commanders would take the AT-TC, and use it to charge toward the enemy lines and plow through battle droids while shooting at enemy tanks. The AT-TC would also be used in convoy escorts, keeping numerous troop and cargo transports safe from ambushing enemy forces. One of the several weaknesses that the AT-TC suffered from, was that it was susceptible to land mines, which would cause considerable damage to the unarmored underbelly of the tank, or if a droid armed with a rocket launcher or an enemy tank managed to get a lucky shot, the treads could be knocked out, potentially risking the crew having to get out and do a quick field repair under fire.

The AT-TC tank would be used in numerous battles against the Separatist Alliance, allowing the AT-TC to become a massive favorite for tank commanders, and a permanent staple in the military motor pool. Following the issuing of Order 66, many AT-TCs remained in the newly reformed Imperial military motor pool, serving as a premier battle tank, while a larger number was taken by the Jedi and their clones to be part of the Jedi Loyalist Forces. While many AT-TC tanks were used to try and kill the Jedi leadership (as well as go on to be used by the newly reformed Galactic Empire for a time), many AT-TC crews were loyal to the Jedi, and thus took the side of their Jedi leaders, and fellow Jedi loyal clone brothers, against the imperialist clones who were trying to kill them.

Fortunately, many Jedi loyal AT-TCs would be saved and salvaged, when the Jedi, Jedi loyal male, and female clones, went deep into exile in the Unknown Regions. After arriving on the secret Jedi planet of Ossus, the AT-TC tanks would have their colors changed from crimson red to a vibrant pure blue, to represent the change of allegiance from the late Grand Army of the Republic, to the Jedi Loyalist Forces (which would eventually be renamed the Amidala Imperial Army). Further changes to the AT-TC would be made after Chiss Grand Admiral Thrawn defected to the Amidala Empire from the Galactic Empire; the most significant change that Thrawn had made to the trusty AT-TC, was putting an armored canopy to the AT-TC's mass driver cannon, to better protect the gunner that operated the cannon.

After the modifications made to the AT-TC Tank, the trusty tank would continue to see action in numerous military campaigns against the Galactic Empire. When the Amidala Empire allied with the Rebel Alliance, many AT-TCs would be given to the Rebels for them to use, and like the clones and Jedi, the Rebels would come to appreciate the combat effectiveness of the All Terrain Attack Crawler. After the end of the Galactic Civil War with the destruction of the Second Death Star, and the subsequent death of Emperor Palpatine, at the Battle of Endor, the AT-TC Tank would continue to see action with the Amidala Empire, holding its place as the favored battle tank of the Jedi and clones.
