I groan, out of both pain and exhaustion, and collapse to the ground.

I look up to you weakly. "Theres a stream over there..." *wheeze* i tried to point with my snout. "Go get some water from it..."

I take out a water bottle and slowly pour it on you.

I speak in tongues, and the wound starts to heal.

I stop speaking in tongues once the wound had healed. "Thank you mate." I say, standing up and stretching.

I snigger. "I saw her teeth." I said, trying desperately to not burst out laughing.
"Looked like they'd been blown up."

"If we face the star, then we can find out which way is east, and so on and so on."

I shrug. βWell, you probably know the forest better than I do. Figure something out.β

We hear groaning. "I think it'd be best for us to leave" i look over and see savage's eyes fluttering. I lean down towards you. "hop on."

I carefully climb onto you

I start running, putting distance between us and them. I was panting, but maintained a steady speed.

I remain seated, just waiting.

Behind us, we could hear the howls of Savage and Oracle, calling out, trying to find each other.

I keep quiet, looking back

"So..." i say. "D'you come to the woods often?"

"I can kinda see why..." I think out loud, not realising im speaking. "With my sisters out for blood, not to mention the bears, and all the other predators out here..."

"Oh..." i say, thinking i might have just heightened your fears of the forest and its inhabitants.
