I'm interested in illustration Animation can be also interesting but it is not developed in my country unfortunately =[... I prefer to deal with comics and paintings, in my opinion it can also be very interesting. I've always had a dream to make my own comic book and i'm planning to finish it....someday ^^" (it`s a little complicated because of my job right now )...

We're interested by the same things !
I think animation give us more versatility, more capacities to begin in the future and it's linked to 3D.
To make his one comic is a dream for me too :3 ..and I find this difficult in the real life but really possible !
I have begun a storyboard and like you my work don't leave me enough time (I'm still in a art high school, quick studies !)

It's cool to know that there are still people who like comics ...In out time it`s not so popular i guess (while the movies that based on comic books are continue to comin out and I'm not complaining about that XD )

When I wrote my story board, I wrote a lot ... When I took a pencil in hand, I realized that I need to draw 300 damn pictures..and I`m not talkin about colorizing X_X It`s fuckin a lot...it ruined my mood and willingness to continue for some time, but I still believe that someday I`ll make it and it will take more than two months. =S

By the way, about the cartoons ... I also think this is the future and it is a very interesting topic, but it sux that the cartoons 2D stepped aside on the background of Pixar. I have nothing against this company, but it would be Nice to see more classic, it`s also fun =[

If you`re studying in high school right now, believe me, you will have a lot of time in the future to realize yourself. I saw your gallery, you have a pretty nice works right there...

To make a storyboard we have to be patient ^^
So maybe you would rather do that in a team
It may be great, and it makes a good ambiance !
I'm a little scared to let work in other hands but if people are competent there is no raison to not be cool. And you ?

About the cartoons, i agree with you, maybe you know "La famille pirate" or "Wakfu" or "Chasseurs de dragon" ?
They use 2D animation and Wakfu use flash.
Do you know "How to train your dragon" ? Even if it's made with 3D, I love it !

Thank you about my gallery ^^' I always want to be better, the more difficult to learn myself is to use software, I see you have good capacities on this point !

Rofl. I hope now they'll know. I dont know why they say "hey man” maybe my style of drawin looks like a little ”boyish” but I glad that is the way it looks. And thank you for your posting!! Keeo it up man : D
