this ain't no fawking cartoon. wtf is up with DA's sections?Well folks, I'm finally back from China and with my return I'm finally old enough to legally drink and draw. Not that I recommend doing so to begin with. Anyways, here's a warm up painting thing I did with pchat. I'm trying to stay away from the glaring super smooth shaded look you normally associate with comics and digital art and focusing more on that flat painterly look. There's a magical quality I can only find from looking at traditional paintings that I feel is lost with digital tools. At the same time I really enjoy the convenience of having everything on your computer screen. So my solution and new ongoing challenge to myself is to paint like a traditional painter using digital programs.
