Aaaaahhh *PHEW*!! It's finally finished. Well to be honest, I'm not really happy with the final result. Something about it is bugging me and I dunno what it is. So that's why the advance critique is on
Anyways, any fans of the 2007 movie adaptation of Bridge To Terabithia out there? An ex-university mate of mine gave free tickets to the movie back in March. Like any other joe who was fooled by the trailer, I went in expecting a fantasy movie, only to come out with teary eyes, touched by it's beautiful story. Yeah~ Yeah~ I can be sappy sometimes
What can I say? I fell in love with Annasophia Robb's portrayal of Leslie Burke. So much that I made a fanart haha. Seriously, who wouldn't? Somebody as charming, open minded, imaginative and fun to be with as Leslie only deserves star quality fan attention hehe
For the first time, I actually became a fan of a child star!! haha (Dakota Fanning and Emma Watson don't really count). Annasophia Robb is simply gorgeous and I can't wait til she becomes 18 and legal hehe Gosh, that sounds so pedophilic
Check out her recent movie; The Reaping. Complete opposite of Leslie Burke 0_0 Hell, she was also a totally different character when she played Violet Beauregarde in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Such wonderful talent XD ok ok, enough fanboying.This piece was totally done in Photoshop 7.0 (yeah, I suck), with my trusty Wacom Graphire 2 (I suck again) and good ol' PC. 2 days on and off. Edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I drew an 18 year old version of Leslie here, (That's why she's bearing midriff and has her womanhood) So that I don't feel like a pedophile LOLZ

i really like leslie, she is the correct definiton of kid, she is not like those girls in teen movies, caring about make-up at the age of 13, fighting with those "evil girls" at school, or dreaming of edward cullen. she is completly innocent child, who does not care what girls do and what guys do, she is just having fun playing and is one of those girls who would play in mud and then would wash and be girly, her role is also perfect: she is energetic, dresses colorfuly, just like child her age, she can run , but is not a muscular slut, who would overpower any guy on earth, like every girl leslie needs guys help too, she has the "female " role perfectly played.

Awww! So pretty! I loved that movie; I think it did the book justice and I rarely say that. I think you really captured the happy care-freeness that is Leslie in this picture so congrats. If only she could have lived to be eighteen! *sobs*

I just watched that movie today, and let me tell you: I cried so hard at the end. I haven't cried at a movie in YEARS, but this got me going. I love Leslie so much, and Anna is a wonderful actress. <3

I've seen that movie too, and cried. I thought it would be much more fantasy, like Narnia or something. Turns out it's a tear-jerker. Sigh. I loved it nonetheless, though
As for the advanced critique, I don't think there's anything wrong with this picture...

Uhm... Maybe her front boot looks a bit too cubic, like there's no leg in it. That's all I could think of

As for the pic, the only thing that's bothering me are the boots. Can't say exactly what the problem is, they just look wrong.
As for the face and hair, that's really perfect. And I also like the hand warmers very much

Awe hell yeah! Annasophia's eyes in The Reaping are GORGEOUS! Especially at the climax of the movie. It's so blue and scary u could almost fall into them. Too bad they were color adjusted in post-production
