I don't know if I should intellectualize my comment too much. Art puts me in a dreamy state and as we know, we can't really explain others exactly the topic of our dreams.
All this to say that this piece is absolutely 'magnifique'.

Fantastic work, Jeff, puts me in mind of those early 1940's mystery pulp images....beautifully atmospheric and mysterious

Oh, yeah. This is quite lovely. It makes me wonder if you have any other paintings that should be re-photographed and updated. I know I'd be interested in checking out the new versions if that were the case. And your journal photo is beautiful and deviously cruel--it took 5 or 6 loops for me to realize that your figure was actually turning and waving briefly but that it wasn't in some way connected to my mouse. The delay was just enough for me to look at it, take it in, move on to read, and then-... "Hey, what was that?"
You know, for that matter, I wonder how many of my deviations need re-photographing and updating...

Thanks Jeff, and of course, thanks for the fav. Most of what I've learned about taking pictures lately has to do with post processing. Adjusting colors, contrast ect.... I've figured out that the camera captures most of the colors, most of the time. It will just be skewed a bit, and need some adjusting to get them back to what they should be. If any of that made sense.
My front page picture? LOL Yeah, that was a lot of fun. That's the sort of things uninspired artist do, until inspiration reappears. LOL I've done some more to it since you've seen it. It's even goofier now. Have a look. [link]

Wow! 'You got loads of bud comments', anyhow, the journal photo had me in stitches of laughter, nice one heheheh! Great countryside! Great taste in sneakers not sure about the shirt though.Lol
Anyhow, 'for the second time' i've always admired the way and bin a bit confused on how you take so good pictures of your work. I haven't really noticed a lack of skills, not that i would know how to anyway.I suppose also that if you take a picture at any particular moment, whatever it comes out like in a way is 'i'm gonna throw in a word here i am not entirely sure of its meaning but it flows' synonymous to the mood or moment anyway, so it all relevent, even if it comes out blurred. I know, i Know its not what you mean.

Thanks Ray, and for the fav too. My journal photo was fun to do, and I've changed it a bit since you've seen it. [link] I always wear goofy shirts. LOL
Sun light, and a Photoshop program have a lot to do with getting good pics. And you lost me in the last of your comment there. LOL

The last bit is quite complicated if i don't get it right the first time. Its the same as i see art, as with photography,
I'm gonna cut off here i just thought about it and its getting me confused.
I'll explain it another time, i'll just tie everything in knots otherwise, i have a manifesto same as the stuckart lot had, Billy Childish etc etc and it forms basis of that. My manifesto that is.
Its two thirds complete, i'll put it on my journal one day.

Thanks Evan, and for the fav. I couldn't believe how washed out the old photo was. It looks much more like the original picture now.
